Located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 63rd Street, it is served by the train at all times. Downtown and Brooklyn-bound trains use the upper level, and Queens-bound trains use the lower level. The station is currently being expanded as part of the construction of the Second Avenue Subway. Under the MTA's current plans, trains to and from the Second Avenue Line will also stop here starting in December 2016, using two tracks currently hidden behind blue construction walls.
